Orbital Engineering, Inc.’s Philadelphia Regional Office opened in 1984 to service the local steel manufacturing industry and over time expanded services in response to the needs of other heavy industries in the region. While the local steel industry is not currently as robust, Orbital continues to support our loyal steel manufacturing clients.

Steel Industry

In addition to the steel industry, we provide a full range of multi-discipline engineering, design, inspection, project management and construction management services to oil refineries, chemical plants, gas plants, storage terminals, power generation and power distribution industries. We augment our Construction Management and Inspection services with the use of modern technology to increase efficiency and safety. Our tablet applications, developed for our Construction Management and QA/QC Services, are uploaded to the cloud daily, eliminating translation errors from paper records and providing our clients with the ability to review daily progress and cost reports. Our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) and Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) augment our inspection services to help eliminate confined space entry and the need for personnel to operate at elevated heights.
