Induction Melter Replacement
This project included specification and installation engineering of a new, state-of-the-art Tin Mill plating reflow induction furnace. The existing furnace was obsolete and inefficient, and the new induction furnace provides for tighter coating control. The project engineering involved structural, piping and electrical design with vendor coordination to install the equipment in a tight work space. Automated quench tank control was also designed and implemented.
